HELP! Need pound cake recipe from Silver Palate cookbook? - silver cake plate
For years, I have a recipe for one of the cookbooks crepes taste of silver (I think his name bishops Cake) - it was my fave recipe. However, I did not go to see, and the cookbook - or the line of the recipe. Can anyone help?

Silver Cake Plate HELP! Need Pound Cake Recipe From Silver Palate Cookbook?

Bishop Pie
1 / 2 kg (2 sticks) butter
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups flour, raw
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract tea
5 eggs
1. Oven to 350 F. Grease and flour a 10-inch muffin bread
2. Cream butter and sugar gradually, beating until light and fluffy
3. Add flour and butter mixture. Enouhg stirring to mix.
4. Mix with lemon juice and vanilla and well. The eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
5. Pour into prepared pan bagel. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until cake tester Kulturmarkt inserted in the center comes out clean. (After 30 minutes cover the cake with foil down.)
6. If the cake is cooked, cool in pan on rack for 10 minutes. And plunge and leave to cool.
Serve 8-10 servings.
