He lived in Ellicott City in Howard County for 10 years and loved it. It is a cheap place to live, but is not in Annapolis, which is too large. What is your definition of cool? An apartment or condo in downtown Baltimore is good if you can afford. In fact, living most places that are very expensive. If the cold is a smaller city with the life of a great little downtown, Frederick MD might fit the bill and not so expensive. However, pay Baltimore City, Howard County or Annapolis area Arundel County top dollar for a house or an apartment. Montgomery County including Bethesda, MD, Chevy Chase, Potomac, near Washington DC is a hot spot, but also very expensive areas to live,

Bethesda - the best-educated city in the country. Very expensive (Everone housing is a lawyer or doctor), but education is great and is a very safe place to live. The approximately 10 min. CD player. I
